Participating organizations selected 31 buildings and public spaces that represent outstanding architectural design by architects in the city. The building won a Merit Award within the Architecture Work category in the AIA NY 2012 Design Awards.

Design Work Begins for Arts@Renaissance
CDR Studio has been selected by The St. Nicks Alliance to assist in the renovation and expansion of their Arts@Renaissance arts space in the former outpatient building of the Greenpoint Hospital in Brooklyn. view full article
With over 4,500 square feet of program space, the arts center aims to become "a bridge between North Brooklyn’s vibrant long-term communities and the area’s emerging creative population through the development of new multi-disciplinary work, residencies, workshops, and collaborative neighborhood art projects." In operation since the summer of 2010, this will be the first major renovation and expansion of the arts center since its inception in order to provide expanded programming; work will include the creation of new gallery, performance and screening spaces, along with classroom and co-working facilites.
