Reishin Watabe

Reishin graduated Cardiff University in 2016 with a Bachelors in Architecture. His third year work comprised of a public library seeking to regenerate a historically rich but neglected site near Liverpool, UK. Using craft and urban studies as Architectural processes, Reishin sought to help bridge the socio-economic divide created between Developer-proposed intentions and existing residents. Reishin also worked for Cardiff University in 2015 to produce widely used Architectural learning resources for the Welsh Baccalaureate, worked on a charity Design Build in Indonesia in 2016, and participated in the AA Koshirakura Visiting School Workshop in 2014.

Outside of his studies he has intimate experience in the restaurant business, has spent time teaching English in India, and continues to pursue a strong interest in snow sports. Reishin joined CDR as an Intern Architect in June 2017, continuing a lasting relationship between Cardiff graduates and CDR.
