Rami Hammour, Associate

Rami received his Master of Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design and his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from University of Damascus. His Master Thesis focused on the political meaning(s) of Architecture and the narrative created by space and program.

Rami has worked and freelanced for firms in Boston, Providence, Syria, Lebanon, UAE and Italy, where he did residential and commercial projects of both architecture and interior architecture. He also did set design work for theater and exhibition, including Samuel Beckett’s “Krapp's Last Tape” for the Damascus Theater Laboratory.

Rami joined CDR Studio in 2015 and manages Southern Region projects for the Audi of America Corporate Design Program. He also is involved in several projects for the City of New Rochelle, NY, including a black box/virtual reality theater and a masterplan that links 13 acres of waterfront property, distributed across five independent sites, into a mixed-use gateway between New Rochelle and the Long Island Sound. He was named an Associate in October 2018.
